The Mulhalls moved to Florida in 1983. In 1986, the Environmental Protection Agency’s Jim Titus predicted that the sea level around the Sunshine State would rise two (2) feet and engulf the state by 2020. That has not come even close to happening. According to NOAA, the sea level at their research facility on Virginia Key has risen by about 9 centimeters, or approximately 3.54 inches. I am skeptical about even that alleged increase ... having friends that have lived on the intracoastal for decades who have gathered their own observations while maintaining their sea walls.
Every year during the King Tide ...
