The data derived from the scientific epidemic modeling was wrong. We should all be happy about that. But, the moment shouldn't pass without noting that all the outcry concerning faith, trust, and reliance in and on data points was a bit much. We must all recognize that science is a process of trial and error … and for every success … there is A LOT of error. There were any number of public and private citizens that raised questions about the nature and validity of the inputs … and we were roundly dismissed as primitive thinking science deniers. But, the only, obviously compelling, and inevitable conclusion that is to be drawn 'here' is that the science was wrong.
While we may find ourselves in a position where we have to 'rely' on the data … putting our faith and trust in it is ... and in this case has been proven to be … a mistake. This time, it's a happy one.
