All in the Delivery

Truly, I was moved yesterday by President Obama's righteous indignation as he issued the full throated defense of the efficiency of the United States Postal Service as a vehicle for the franchise. It reminded me of the same dunder-headed delusion of Cliff Clavin who once opined that there should be a theme park dedicated to the "postal experience" and the true American hero ... the postal worker.

For my entire 57 years, the inefficiency of the Post Office has been a running joke. I guess we all just imagined it. Democrats love to call a thing by a different name. Castigating the President for saying he doesn't trust the mail. It's nothing that we haven't all said a kajillion times.

Give me a break, Barak.
